Day 79 - September 17

And just like that, the weekend is over and we're back to real life. Which is good. It would be better with more cheesecake, but really, what wouldn't be better with more cheesecake?

Day 78 - September 16

Church with famous people. A walk through Central Park. Really good cheesecake. All the makings of a movie-like Sunday afternoon.

Day 77 - September 15

My new boyfriend and Tony-award winner, Steve Kazee. I just call him Steve Kazee.

Day 76 - September 14

Eating tasty pizza with college roommates at the darkest little pizza joint a way out in Brooklyn.

Day 75 - September 13

Long weekend in the big city. Love that skyline.

Day 74 - September 12

I made a fresh peach pie just 36 hours before we were leaving town. And none of it went to waste. I know--we're pigs around here. I even used a crust and a half to put it together--mostly because I couldn't remember how much the crust the recipe made, but it was so good I'll be accidentally doing that from now on.

Day 73 - September 11

Soccer Boy had a fan section at his game this time and he did not disappoint--12 goals. He's figured out that once the ball has been kicked by the other team, it's fair game, so it takes it and goes wild. After four in a row, Craig actually pulled him from the game so that the other kids could get a shot.

Day 72 - September 10

Oh, the laundry. Not sure why I hate doing laundry, but I do.

Day 71 - September 9

We all look forward to our ward/neighborhood meet-and-greets every summer--the socializing, the playing, the treats. We whipped up BYU brownie and ate the whole pan.

Day 70 - September 8

Knocked almost seven minutes off my time. And I would've come in right around 2 hours even, if the race organizers had measured a true half, rather than adding an extra half mile. When my headphones told me I was at 13 and I couldn't see the finish, I started running out of juice and fast--I knew I had exactly 13.1 in me and not one bit more. Such a mental game, this running is.
